Catch all the action center stage as Chef Ralph Pagano of Gulf Stream Park co-hosts this exciting evening with Kelly Craig of the Paul & Young Ron in the Morning show!

As my adrenaline comes down from the South Beach Wine & Food Festival 2012 The Q, I look back at last night and I can say that I am truly blessed to have the most amazing team on the planet! From our techs Kyle, Brady, Flavies, & Miguel, to our Musicology musicians Jessie Malie, Jesse Ricca, Remy, Raul, & Gabe, to my manager and mentor Mike Sipe (@themikesipe), they have more heart than anyone I know!!

Before I continue, I have to give thanks to those who made this event possible: Lee Schrager, Guy Fieri, Emeril Lagasse, and, above all, Mrs. Kelly Murphy!! Thank you for the opportunity for us to perform in front of a sold out crowd of 4,000+ !!

The night was impeccable! As we opened with a very sexy chill set featuring electric violinist/vocalist miss Jessie Malie (@jessiemalie), then Remy joined me for a jazz infused funk set which gave the crowd the soul they were looking for! Then which both Jessie Malie & Raul joined Remy and I on the main stage for a progressive, melodic house set!

I then invited them off and brought on my electric guitarist Jesse Ricca & drummer Gabe Jean for a bad ass set featuring music ranging everything from hard rock to straight up hip hop! The crowd went nuts when the music died and they heard Jay-Z: “All me to reintroduce myself!!” The flames on the massive LED screen behind me described the fiery scene inside the 58,000 square foot tent behind the Delano Hotel!

As the pace grew we invited the rest of Musicology to join on stage for an epic set which began with Fur Elise whoch transitioned into Lenny Kravitz (yeah try to figure that one out lol). At the end we had thousands of people jumping on the sand to House of Pain!!!

Hey guys!

I apologize for the short hiatus! I have been pulling countless hours in the studio with other members of Musicology in preparation for my personal favorite event of the year: Bubble Q! This will be my 3rd year in a row performing at this spectacular event & this is the event’s 11th year running!

The past 2 years I have performed with some very talented musicians on the main stage for this event, but, this year I am very proud & excited to be taking the stage with my band Musicology! We have been arranging and rehearsing sets nonstop! We have a lot in store for all of you;) !

So…. many of you may or may not know that aside from DJing and producing, I am a writer! Since I was about 10yrs old I took a real liking to poetry and other creative writing styles and I’ve been hooked ever since! Recently some really good friends of mine, Andy & Marlee, found out they were going to be having their first baby, her name is Charlee! One morning I woke up with the inspiration to write this poem. I hope you enjoy it, I plan on sharing more poems and songs here on the blog as well as new original music & mixes!

Recently my agent Mike Sipe (@themikesipe) was invited to be a part of a large industry event held at one of Fort Lauderdale’s top concert halls: Revolution Live! (if you aren’t familiar…google it!:). Mike, his amazing team, + I worked together to produce a bad ass show for all of our industry guests!

First, the incredibly talented DJ EDDIE ZAGA (@djeddiezaga92) opened the night with a sexy mash of new + old tunes to welcome the guests into the concert hall! Eddie killed his set! Follow this kid! I’m so very proud to share the stage with someone who is as talented & humble as this young DJ. Then, our guest MC, Ron G formally welcomed our guests and introduced Miss Jessie Malie (@jessiemalie) and I to the stage for our violin + DJ set together! We whipped thru everything from Chris Brown to Avicii to Kanye’s “N***** in Paris”!! After which the Heatwave Band took to the stage for a very high energy commercial set! Then, it was time for my intense, epic DJ + guitar set with the young prodigy Jesse Ricca!! When I tell you this young man is going to be a legend one day, your speak the truth! Ricca + I shredded through practically every genre of music, literally. Hard rock, progressive house, Latin, old school hip hop, + ended with FLAMENCO!! It was something you had to hear to believe! But, no worries I will be posting a YouTube video featuring the live recording soon (keep checking back here for updates)! Later, Eddie Zaga + I took to our proper places atop of the elevated DJ booth for our duo set: Double Threat. We torn into the decks with nonstop crowd-pleasers for the night’s finale!

It’s VERY important that I take a moment to thank our extraordinary MSE crew who not only built the stage but also helped facilitate things behind the scenes to help make our event a success: Miguel, Kyle, Brady, & Dominick! I extend my thank you to Mike Sipe, Ned, Meghan, the Heatwave Band, the awesome sound+lighting team at Revolution Live, and our industry guests for having us!
